8-23-18 First day of Crew! I cannot wait to meet you! Today we'll get to know one another a bit and go over some important things you'll need to know about College Crew and ATC. Homework for next week is to log in to PowerSchool and check your grades at least one time during the week. If you don't already know how to do this, we'll be talking about it in class today. Follow-up: the code for the PowerSchool APP is MRWL. Again, if you need help accessing PowerSchool, please come see me.
8-30-18 Do Now: What are your first impressions after three weeks at ATC? Discuss and practice norms and expectations for participation in class discussions at ATC. Picture Day is Tuesday, September 4. Ordering materials provided to each student to take home to parents.
9-6-18 Make sure you can show me you can log in to PowerSchool. Go over ER procedures for next week.
Ted Talk on leadership. Discuss goal setting and complete goal-setting sheet.
9-13-18 First ER day (ER is Early Release or Emergency Room -- whichever applies to you). Discuss the importance of organization and binder checks. Make sure students know one another's names.
9-20-18 All 7th grade Crews together in the Phoenix Center for a name-learning game. Make sure you're prepared for a binder check for next week.
9-27-18 Binder check using rubric givien 9-13. First opportunity to get 100% on name test.
10-4-18 Log in to Naviance and complete the Game Plan under the About Me tab and the Learning Styles Inventory. Click through to X2Vol (where you'll be tracking your community service hours) through Naviance. Naviance User ID is your student ID. Password is 123456 until you change it. Please have the Learning Styles Inventory finished by 10/25 at the latest.

10-18-18 Understanding your brain video and questions. We'll be watching the video "How Smart Can You Get" in class. Students will take notes then have questions to complete for homework from their notes.
